DEALERS TRUCK EQUIPMENT SHIP-THROUGH IS CUSTOM MADE The Colorado/Canyon Ship Through arrangement for Dealers Truck Equipment Company, Inc., Shreveport, Louisiana, is a delivery option (Option code TDE) offered to Chevrolet and GMC dealers by General Motors. The 2WD and 4WD Colorado/Canyon chassis cabs are built at General Motors' Shreveport, Louisiana plant, and then delivered to Dealers Truck Equipment's manufacturing facility in Shreveport, Louisiana via the General Motors freight system. Dealers Truck Equipment then upfits these bailment Colorado/Canyon chassis cabs installing the UteBed® options specified by the GM dealer. Upon completion, the vehicle is re-inserted into the General Motors freight system for delivery to the final destination with a nominal TDE "Ship Through Freight" charge. Another key to Dealers Truck Equipment’s continued success is maintaining productive relationships with General Motors, their dealers, and commercial retail customers.
