Ute Ltd is an importer based in Seattle, Washington.
We began importing products from Australia in December 2000. We are bringing in quality products, not yet developed in North America. Our goal is to create commerce that will foster jobs for many workers on both continents while bringing quality aluminum products to a new market. We have acquired exclusive rights to our product line from our Australian manufacturer and have applied for patents and trademarks to strengthen that position. Ute Ltd®, Ute Tray®, Ute BedTM and BullbarTM are some of our trademarks. Our mission now is to establish a distribution network for our products across North America. In our efforts we will be establishing working relationships with wholesale distributors and warehouses in every possible region. We also will be establishing standards for installations of our product line. Installation is not complicated, but safety is the key issue in mounting our hardware to any vehicle. The Ute Tray® / Ute BedTM is an all aluminum truck bed that is load rated at 2 1/2 tons for small and medium size trucks and 4 tons for the full size pickup. Our small truck model is made to fit almost any small truck from 1/2 ton to 1 ton chassis style. These decks are 6 foot wide and models vary in length from about 5 foot to 8 foot. Our mid size model is 6 1/2 foot wide and about 8 foot long. The full size model is 7 foot wide and 8 foot 6 inches long. This model has the option of drop sides and we are currently developing a stake side options. The sides are all T-6 aluminum as well. This model will fit most full size single rear wheel pickup trucks. (Truck must have a box removal or box deleate program and be installed by a certified shop.) The BullbarTM is an all aluminum frontal protection system for trucks of all sizes. These are not "brush guards" by any stretch of the imagination. There are two distinct styles of BullbarTM . One model includes the entire front bumper replacement and bar system as an integral unit. The other lighter model Nudge Bar utilizes the factory bumper and includes protection for the mid section, the grill and radiator area and also comes with an optional skid plate for the under carriage. In addition to its obvious attributes, the BullbarTM has been crash tested and is AIRBAG CERTIFIED. This feature puts it out well ahead of any brush guard. Our hope is that the Ute BedTM and BullbarTM will enhance the lives of all who use them. The Ute Tray® will increase cargo carrying area and may improve gas mileage.
